About Us
Sura Systems is managed by Gurumurthi V. Ramanan, formerly a faculty of Anna University, Chennai, India. He is a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Earlier, he was the holder of the Srinivasa Ramanujan External Research Studentship of the Trinity College, Cambridge University, where he completed the Part III of Mathematical Tripos. He was an NBHM postdoctoral fellow at Chennai Mathematical Institute. He works on a broad range of pattern recognition applications ranging from Biometrics to algorithmic trading and machine vision to music recognition with a view to productize.
